Here are Green Feathers HQ, we’ve wanted to be able to offer this solution for years and finally technology has caught up. After much research, testing and sampling, we proud to present our fully functional Bird Box Camera & Screen Pack. This is the perfect solution for someone who wants to watch nesting birds and wildlife in their garden as simply as possible. Simply power the pre-paired camera and screen and after a couple of clicks you’ll be up and running. You can carry the screen around and watch whilst your washing up, doing DIY or pretending to work from home or you can share the previous days footage with the kids over breakfast.
The camera is paired to the screen using a wireless connection (at least 50m Wireless Range no obstacles), meaning there is absolutely no need to worry about the signal strength of Wi-Fi router where your birdbox is located (unlike other models). The camera itself is true HD giving you a 1080p picture and with our built in day and nighttime LED lamps, you will get the best images possible. N.B if watching nocturnal wildlife, our daytime lamps can be turned off using the handy cap that covers the daytime sensor.
With the portable screen in your home, you can connect that to your Wi-Fi router and using the Green Feathers app, share with friends, watch back recorded footage or keep an eye on the chicks whilst away from the house (optional) giving you best of both worlds.

What’s the difference between your "Wireless" & "WiFi" camera?
This can be slightly confusing for this camera kit! The camera connects to the screen via encrypted Wireless technology. The screen then connects to your home WiFi using 2.4ghz WiFi technology.
Can I watch on my smartphone or tablet?
Yes! Our official Green Feathers app allows you to stream the camera live and watch back recordings.
Which devices does the app work with?
The app works on iPhones, iPads(using iPhone compatibility mode) and Android phones and tablets. The app supports iOS 11.0 or later and Android 6.0 or later. Kindle devices are not currently supported.
What cameras can I use with the screen?
We have a bird box camera and bullet camera specifically designed to work with the screen our other cameras won't work with the screen. However, you can use our 3rd generation cameras on the Green Feathers App alongside the screen kit.
Do I have to power this by the mains?
The camera needs to be powered by the included power supply to work reliably. We have extension cables to add up to 20 metres extra length to the power supply cable. The screen has a power supply and rechargeable battery.
What length of cable does the camera come with?
The power supply included for free in the kit has 3 metres of cable. You can purchase one of our extension cables for up to 20 metres of extra cable length.
Do I have to be connected to my WiFi network to watch the camera?
No, as long as the screen is connected to your WiFi you can connect into your screen even when you are away from home.
Will it work on my TV?
This camera is not designed to work on TVs unlike some of our other cameras that wire into the back of the TV. However, the app works on Apple TV and may also work on smart TVs that support Android apps.
Can the Screen record? For how long?
Yes! The screen features an in-built slot that supports microSD cards up to 128GB in capacity (card not included). This allows the screen to record footage for later playback and it can automatically overwrite older footage when it becomes full.
When recording, it uses about 0.1GB per hour of space, so with a 64GB card, you can expect the camera to record for up to 26 days of footage and 52 days using a 128GB card.
Does this Screen work on my 5 GHz WiFi network?
No, this kit only operates on the 2.4 GHz band. For dual-band WiFi networks with separate network names (SSIDs) connect to the "2G" or "2GHz" version. Some routers now have 2.4 GHz switched off by default and if you're not sure how to re-enable this please contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Watch live and previously recorded footage - share with friends quickly and easily. Our app even works with Alexa, allowing you to view your camera on TVs or Echo devices.
Cloud Storage Options
Keep your footage in the cloud with easy access and sharing – control and view all your recordings directly from our app, you can even download and send footage to friends.
Motion Notifications
Get notified when an animal or bird is about. Push notifications directly to your phone or tablet will alert you when a new resident arrives.
Remote Viewing
View your camera from anywhere you have an internet connection. With the camera connected to WiFi you can view your camera live from anywhere in the world.
